SO FULL OF WIN IT HURTS

So, I saw Angels and Demons today, and I gotta say it's muuuuuucccchhhhhhhh better than its predecessor The DaVinci Code despite its big brother's successes at both the box office and the bookstore. I always thought the prequel had a better story and better action than the one that hit it big, which is kinda sad because I absolutely loved Angels and Demons in both its literary and silver screen forms.

Darlton are trying desperately to recap and explain everything. They left out Montand's arm, which I find a glaring omission on their part. When will we finally be satisfied on the issue of Montand's arm? Statue? What statue? What do you even mean by asking me about a "black rock"? Surely the mystery of what Smokey did to Montand's arm is this show's lasting legacy.

Just woke up. Can't go to lunch today with Dad because I need to study for my Shakespeare midterm. Prince Hal is pretty rad, IMO, at least he's a more well-developed character than his father. I came home today after shopping and I turned on the TV and what do I see?

I turned on the SciFi channel first out of habit, and OMG. THE OTHER WOMAN IS ON. AND THERE IS BENRY'S ADORABLE MUG AND HE'S GOT A HAM AND HE WAS ALL LIKE "YOU'RE MIIIIIINNNNEEEE~!"

and I swooned. I love his spiky hair XD

No, all fun aside, today, David Tennant, one of the sexiest men alive, turns 38. Let's celebrate, shall we?

What are you going to give David for his birthday? Any birthday wishes? Any fun birthday games we're going to play? Besides Spin the Bottle, because honestly, that's a given. What's your favorite thing David's been in? If you don't know him, take today to get acquainted with his works!

I can't remember all of it, but I'm gonna do it now before I forget all of it.

I was driving along outside of OU with my Dream Best Friend who looked a little like Ran-Chan but acted more like a real japanese schoolgirl. She was pretty fun. But anyway, I ended up taking a wrong turn and we were forced onto a ramp exiting into West Virginia. But when we finally got out of the car, it wasn't hickville West Virginia at all. They were very civilized... It was almost like Japan but with whitey all over the place. The first place we went to try and get our bearings was the Comic Shop.

In there, I kid you not, I met Turlough from Doctor Who (although dream Me didn't know anything about this guy, just that he was a cute ginger fellow) and he was a condescending jerk as always. But he kept following me around, and I kinda liked it.

THEN, ALLOVASUDDEN, GAMERA SHOWS UP IN THE RIVER OUTSIDE.
I'm not even kidding. This dream is like attack of the fandoms. It gets better.

Gamera starts terrorizing the town outside. I suddenly feel very lightheaded, and Turlough and Ran-Chan are affected too! So are two other folks in the comic shop I don't know. Suddenly, we're transported! We end up in ROBOT ANIMALS ala Voltron or Power Rangers. More like Power Rangers because the animals were all different. Turlough was the orange one, Ran-Chan was the red one, I think I was the yellow one, and the other two comic shop folks I didn't know were also in it. I took control, because I'd seen Voltron and knew exactly what to do. We attacked Gamera in our robot animals, all the while Turlough over the intercom being a jerk. Gamera fell back into the river, gurgling.

Outside of the robots again, all of us gathered together in the comic shop to go over this amazing turn of events together. I had to explain the concept of Voltron to Ran-Chan, and Turlough and I ended up humming the Voltron theme song together. Turlough then congratulated me on my successful first mission as leader, and they voted to keep me as leader. I thanked Turlough (inside feeling giddy at his approval) but then reminded everyone of every single Voltron episode ever: the bad guy is never down the first time. It was gonna be back, and it was gonna be bigger.

... Then I woke up.
I haven't seen Power Rangers or Voltron in forever, and it's been even longer since I picked up a Ranma comic. Turlough is pretty obvious, I watch Doctor Who all the time (though it was interesting that it was him and not one of the Doctors... hmm). And Gamera. Really? I have very interesting dreams.

Also: WATCHED MICHAEL EMERSON LAST NIGHT AND HE WAS SO FREAKING ADORABLE. And Jimmy was so excited the whole time, he looked like a dog up on its hind legs staring at a biscuit just out of reach.

 My friends and I are attempting the Herculean task of watching all the Fifth Doctor episodes in order. So far we've gotten all the way to Arc of Infinity without a hitch, but as soon as we hit Snakedance, I can't find them AAANYWHERE for free.

Note: Torrents hate my computer. This is probably because I have a Mac.

Now, should I just get someone's PC and use the torrents through there? Or is there an easier way, because I'm willing to try anything once (and free, lulz) Any HALP is appreciated, but if you can't help, no worries. :B

I wasn't sure whether my Lostie friends were aware that I did BenFic a while back. Waaay back in the mists of Season Four, right after The Shape of Things to Come, I really got into it. Because, I figured if Ben was so disraught when Alex was killed that he had to care about her just a little, right?

So now my BenFics are practically canon XD
